SIZZ had built a fast-growing apparel brand and an efficient warehouse. The planning behind the stock needed to catch up. We audited the operation and identified around $550k in first-year opportunity across freight, inventory, returns and production costs.
The Company
SIZZ the brand is a Netherlands-based DTC apparel business generating multimillion-dollar sales, with a strong domestic customer base and growing demand across Germany and the Nordics. The brand combines overseas manufacturing with its own online store and in-house fulfilment operation.
As sales accelerated, Onflair was brought in to audit the supply chain and establish what planning, purchasing and inventory management needed to support the next stage of growth.

The problem
Bestsellers were running short while cash sat in slow-moving products. Inbound stock was travelling entirely by air, including predictable replenishment that could move by sea. Returns were rising, with sizing and fit accounting for most of the problem.
Underneath those issues, stock figures disagreed across systems and buying relied on manual spreadsheets without clear reorder triggers. The warehouse was performing well, but the decisions determining what reached it, when and at what cost needed a stronger planning process.
The solution
We reviewed sales and inventory data, purchase orders, freight invoices and returns records, then benchmarked transport and production costs against live quotes.
We separated urgent replenishment from stock suitable for sea freight, identified products to stop buying or clear, and mapped improvements to sizing, exchanges and store credit. We also tested alternative factory pricing on the core range.
Those findings became a phased implementation roadmap connecting stock-data reconciliation, buying discipline, reorder rules and returns management.

The outcome
One audit identified approximately $550,000 in first-year opportunity, combining recurring annual value with a one-off release of cash from excess stock:
Around $80k per year in potential freight savings through better air rates and a planned shift of suitable stock to sea.
Around $100k per year in modelled contribution opportunity from improving bestseller availability.
Around $160k per year in modelled value from reducing returns.
Around $150k per year in potential production-cost savings on benchmarked styles.
Around $55k in potential cash release from clearing slow-moving stock.
The business gained a quantified set of priorities: which products needed replenishing, which should stop being bought, where costs could come down and what planning capability would prevent the same issues recurring.
The audit gave SIZZ a clear commercial basis for deciding what to fix first and how to approach its next stage of growth.
Figures are presented in USD and rounded to protect commercially sensitive information. Values represent opportunities identified during the audit, subject to implementation and validation. Cash release is a one-off amount.
